Autocad Tutorial: How to Scale Viewport

Hey there.
Welcome to my site and thank you for visiting!

In todays video I show you how to scale your drawing in a viewport to a specific scale, in this case 1/4″ = 1′-0″ but the method works for any scale.
By always doing your work at 1:1 in model space you can easily print/produce drawings at any scale you need by using a layout and a viewport set to the needed scale.

To see what I’m talking about and learn for yourself check out the video below:

If you have any questions at all, please just ask, and don’t forget to let me know what you’d like to learn next by posting it in the comments below and I’ll be sure to add a video for you.

Cheers and happy drafting,
Brandon
