AutoCAD Tutorial: How to Create a Block

In this quick tutorial video I go over the steps used to create a simple block in AutoCAD. By making a block of an object that you need to recreate often you can save time and effort in the long term.

Not to mention, you will be continually building a library of blocks that you can use in your future drawings and save your self time.

In this easy to follow walk-through I go over creating a very basic block, including how to choose the linework and objects that make up your new block. As well as the origin or insertion point and the various settings that can be selected in the block creation manager.

To bring up the block manager simply type “block” and enter.
