I know the chamfer command may come a second nature to some CAD users, but there are many cadders out there that don’t use this great little command enough or even at all. So I figured I would put together a quick little video to show a few of its uses and hopefully help anyone that hasn’t learned the chamfer command or may just need a quick brush up.
A quick run down, to start the chamfer command, simply type in ‘chamfer’ and hit enter, or select it on the home tab, it is on the drop down for the fillet command.
Once started the command will allow you to precisely cut/trim an angle or object at a given distance or distance and angle. for more detail just watch the quick video below:
Hopefully you’ve got a better understanding of the chamfer command now and you can save some time by using it in your future projects.
Thank you for reading and watching!
If you have any questions or comments please leave them below, and happy cadding.
